We are now reading and listening to “The Prophet” a book by Khalil Gibran.

Kahlil Gibran is an early twentieth-century Lebanese American poet, journalist, and artist who achieved considerable fame in the Western world for his 1923 book The Prophet.

Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet is a complex, philosophical novel that explores the topics of love, human relationships, and society. Although it is not a religious text in the traditional sense, the title presents the author as a prophet of his community. The book is separated into four sections that represent different parts of society: “Children’s Play,” “The Home,” “The Street,” and “The Town.
